- In 1998 started the new Hamilton Business Week Program - includes seminars, presentations and business card networking events. In 1999 we extended Business Week to include an EXPO for our local businesses. This allowed local business to display their goods and services in one location for a day.

- Created the first guide ever in the region called the "Hamilton Blueprint," which is a guide that organizes all the information necessary to prepare an application for going before the planning and zoning board and how to apply for a permit. More than 3,000 copies have been distributed to date.
- The Partnership is funded by individual businesses and is a private board. It is set up as a not for profit corporation and allows ex-officio members which includes government and community members to be active on the board. Decisions made by the Partnership are made at executive committee and regular board meetings monthly.
- The Partnership sees its role as a mechanism to guide the local government in matters related to economic development from a businessperson's perspective. The Partnership is concerned with quality of life and preservation. Its ultimate goal is to create more jobs and tax revenue to balance the tax burden currently affecting our residence. It is also concerned with small business, what the Partnership calls, the heart of our community and intends to continue with its aggressive retention program "BIZ."
- The Partnership helped to amass more than a half billion dollars in value of new ratables coming to Hamilton since its inception five years ago. To date only $50 to $60 million have been built and the first sign of tax relief appeared this year with an $8 million dollar tax decrease to property owners.
- The Partnership grew its original membership of 12 to 36 members. Attrition has occurred but due only to mergers and acquisitions.
